Luisa Schroven
Luisa Sofie Schroven is Law Clerk at Bibiyan Law Group, P.C., where she supports the firm’s employment litigation practice. Luisa is a German law graduate, who studied at the university of Heidelberg since 2018. She completed her German first bar examination in January 2024, placing in the top 10% nationwide with a specialization in employment, labor, and social law.
During her studies, Luisa spent two semesters abroad, in Prague, Czech Republic, and Lausanne, Switzerland, with a focus on EU Law and comparative European legal systems. In 2022, she participated in the National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference in New York as a delegate in the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA), representing the University of Heidelberg.
In August 2024, Luisa moved to Los Angeles to pursue an LL.M. at UCLA School of Law on a Dean’s Tuition Fellowship. During her studies, she participated in the UCLA Labor, Organizing, and Low-Wage Workers Clinic, where she collaborated with the union UNITE HERE Local 11 on cases involving sexual harassment and labor law violations.
Professionally, Luisa completed two internships in employment law in Germany and spent several years working as a student assistant at a full-service law firm in Heidelberg. After passing the bar, she served as a research assistant in the firm’s private construction law practice and later worked for the German Parliament in Berlin, gaining valuable insight into legislative processes and the broader legal landscape.
Outside of the office, Luisa enjoys going to the gym, playing the piano, and exploring books across a wide range of genres.
