Kate Willis

Kate Willis completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia where she obtained a dual Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs and Latin American and Caribbean Studies.

Kate attended law school at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles where she competed on the school’s Scott Moot Court team. As a member of the team, she went on to win best appellate brief in the statewide Roger J. Traynor  California Appellate Moot Court Competition.

Kate began her legal career at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles as a staff attorney in the Eviction Defense Center where she represented low income tenants facing eviction and housing issues.

Originally from Georgia, Kate now resides in Los Angeles where she spends her free time with friends, traveling, volunteering on issues related to housing and homelessness, and sewing.
