Michael Zar is trial counsel in Bibiyan Law Group, P.C.’s arbitration department, representing clients on various employment-related matters.

Mr. Zar received his undergraduate degree from California State University Long Beach, where he was a double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies. During his undergraduate work, he was a recipient of the Peccorini Scholarship Award, participated in the Philosophy Department Honors Program, and was nominated for the Philosophy Department’s Outstanding Graduate award.

Mr. Zar went on to earn his law degree from the University of San Diego where he was involved in the Thomas More Society and clerked for a large San Diego-based bankruptcy firm. 

Through his extensive legal experience, he has represented clients in a wide variety of legal areas, including employment law, business law, personal injury matters, real estate law, landlord/tenant disputes, and common interest development (HOA) matters. Mr. Zar also previously served as general counsel for one of Orange County’s largest private equity real estate investment funds. In these roles, Mr. Zar has represented clients through all phases of litigation, including several jury trials and on appeals.

Mr. Zar is admitted to practice before all California courts and The United States District Court for both the Central District and Southern District of California.
