Sara Banco
Sara Banco is Senior Counsel in the litigation department of Bibiyan Law Group, Sara Banco utilizes her extensive writing experience to advocate for clients through law and motion work in PAGA and class action employment cases.
She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay before attending law school at the University of California, Irvine (“UCI”). During law school, Sara received multiple Faculty and Dean’s awards for her course performance, served as a faculty research assistant, senior article editor for UCI’s Law Review and won the Best Brief Award at UCI’s Experian/Jones Day Moot Court competition. She also served as an executive board member for UCI’s moot court and completed more than 120 hours of pro bono work before graduating magna cum laude.
Following law school, Sara clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Palau and San Diego Superior Court. She uses the unique experience she gained working within courts to more effectively represent workers wronged within the workplace. Through her work at Bibiyan Law Group, Sara looks forward to helping advance the rights of workers and achieving justice for clients.
In her off time, Sara loves to travel, go scuba diving and play board games.
