Nicolas Aguilar
Nick Aguilar is Senior Counsel at Bibiyan Law Group, focusing on plaintiff-side employment litigation, with an emphasis on complex wage-and-hour class actions and claims under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
Before joining the firm, Nick spent more than 13 years working across a wide spectrum of plaintiff-side employment matters, including misclassification, discrimination, and retaliation. His primary practice centered on helping develop complex wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA matters from initial pleadings and discovery through class certification, mediation, and settlement. Nick values connecting with people, understanding the problems they face, building a strong factual record, working through complex legal issues, and helping turn that work into meaningful results.
Nick earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish Literature from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida and is currently pursuing admission in Colorado.
Nick lives in Colorado with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid dog lover and enjoys playing piano, golfing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
