Lorie Gutierrez is a Paralegal in our Settlement Department with fifteen years of experience in the legal field. Ms. Gutierrez has developed strong expertise in legal writing, drafting, filing, and adherence to best law office practices. She began her legal career in 2012, gaining early experience in family law and unlawful detainer matters, where she built a solid foundation in case management, document preparation, and court procedures. Over the past ten years, her work has been focused exclusively on employment law matters, where she is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate legal support to employees who have experienced discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or wrongful termination.

Ms. Gutierrez earned her ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate in 2015 and has since expanded her technical proficiency in employment law and eDiscovery. Her practice is defined by strong organizational discipline, attention to procedural detail, and the ability to manage complex caseloads efficiently. She is highly skilled in drafting pleadings, coordinating filings, conducting legal research, and supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, reflecting a deep understanding of both substantive employment law and the operational demands of a high-functioning legal practice.

In addition to her core paralegal competencies, Ms. Gutierrez holds certifications in Employment Law and eDiscovery. She remains actively engaged in the legal community through memberships in organizations such as NALA, LAPA, LALSA, LPI and Women in eDiscovery, ensuring she stays current with evolving legal standards and best practices.
