Julian Cano

Julian Cano is an Associate Attorney at Bibiyan Law Group, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree in Creative Writing from Florida State University in 2014 and earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey. During law school, Julian served as an Executive Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review and was a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board’s National Appellate Advocacy Team. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael Shipp of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and as a legal intern with the Student Honors Legal Program in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Julian began his legal career as a law clerk for the Eighteenth Judicial District Court. He later served as a Deputy District Attorney with the Denver District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted criminal cases. After moving to Seattle, he practiced at a civil litigation plaintiff’s firm, a maritime commercial litigation defense firm, and an employment law litigation defense firm. Julian has successfully represented clients in mediation, arbitration, and trial. After representing businesses and employers in numerous individual and class action matters, he decided to return to plaintiff-side practice to help individuals seek justice.

Julian’s hobbies include hiking, yoga, and snowboarding.
