Cassandra Lenning

Cassandra Lenning is a Senior Managing Attorney for our Washington Practice. With over the past 15 years, Ms. Lenning has represented employees and executives at every stage of their career, and across a wide range of employment matters. She is a seasoned litigator who has successfully first and second-chaired multiple arbitration and jury trials. Her practice focuses on claims of discrimination, retaliation, equal pay, and wage and hour class actions. 

Ms. Lenning received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Washington in Seattle, and her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. Before joining Bibiyan Law Group, Ms. Lenning worked at Outten & Golden LLP, an employee rights firm, from 2017 – 2026, where she frequently represented employees of large tech companies, including Amazon, Microsoft, Twitter, and Meta. Early in her career, Ms. Lenning practiced at a boutique civil rights and employment litigation firm in D.C. She also served as a fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington State, and the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, where she worked on employment discrimination and wage and hour matters.

Ms. Lenning is actively involved in the Washington State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section, including serving on the Executive Committee since 2020 and as Chair from 2022-2025. She is also a member of the Washington Employment Lawyers Association (WELA) and California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA).  Ms. Lenning has presented at numerous employment conferences hosted by the American Bar Association, National Employment Lawyers Association, and Washington State Bar. 

Ms. Lenning is regularly recognized for her legal work. She was identified as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2019-2022, has been annually selected by her peers and recognized by Best Lawyers from 2021-2025, and was named to LawDragon’s list of leading civil rights and plaintiff employment lawyers in 2025.
