Zack Bierscheid
Zack Bierscheid is an appellate attorney whose practice focuses on representing employees and plaintiffs in single-plaintiff and complex employment litigation. He handles appeals and dispositive legal briefing in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, representative actions, class actions, and other complex employment issues. Zack is passionate about developing persuasive legal arguments and helping shape both litigation strategy and California employment law through thoughtful appellate advocacy.
Zack earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from Colorado State University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law. While at Chapman, he was a member of the law school’s Moot Court Team, where he refined the oral advocacy and legal writing skills that continue to serve as the foundation of his appellate practice.
Before joining the firm, Zack gained experience representing clients in complex mass tort and civil litigation before transitioning to employment law, where he represented employers in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and appellate matters. That diverse background provides him with a comprehensive understanding of employment litigation from both perspectives and informs his strategic approach to representing employees in high-stakes disputes.
Outside of his practice, Zack enjoys spending time on the golf course, caring for his elderly Weimaraner, Jordy, cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Green Bay Packers, and taking advantage of any opportunity to enjoy the California sun.
