Alexa Guzman
Alexa is an Associate Attorney with Bibiyan Law Group. She is a first-generation attorney in her family. She received a B.A. in Philosophy from University of California, Los Angeles, where she was on the Dean’s List. Alexa earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society.
During law school, she also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Andrew J. Guilford in the United States District Court for the Central District. Alexa has a passion for helping her clients, which she also developed in law school by working with underprivileged parents in Dependency Court.
Alexa began her career in civil litigation defending and advocating for individuals and companies in the areas of personal injury, construction defect and premises liability, which honed her oral advocacy and negotiation skills. She previously worked in house for a real estate investment lender advising on a variety of legal topics including employment related issues. Alexa is a zealous advocate for her clients, and her previous experience provides invaluable insight into best practices to represent her clients’ rights against their employers. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and spending time with her variety of pets.
