Ms. Sara Keane is committed to and passionate about advocating for the rights of people in her community. Sara obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Sara then received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of San Diego School of Law (USD).
Prior to joining Bibiyan Law Group, Sara worked as an attorney for a law firm specializing in employment discrimination.
During law school, Sara volunteered for the Clean Slate Clinic and worked for several public interest law firms, including USD’s Education and Disability Clinic, Elder Law & Advocacy, and the Southern California Immigration Project. These positions have given Sara a diverse set of skills and exposure to many different areas of law. Sara also received her mental health first aid certification to better assist her clients who had suffered trauma.
To further hone her advocacy and writing skills during law school, Sara clerked at a civil rights law firm specializing in police brutality litigation. There, she learned how to litigate civil rights cases for people who had been discriminated against, assaulted, and/or killed by law enforcement officers. Due to her work experience, Sara has learned how to channel her outrage into being a fierce and effective advocate for her clients.
Outside of her work, Sara loves playing with her dog and expanding her record and cassette tape collections.
