Mr. Robert Wilson is a Southern California local who grew up in upstate New York and graduated from Northeastern University (BSBA) in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Wilson received his Juris Doctor (JD) from Albany Law School in Albany, New York, the oldest (1851) independent law school in the country. While at Albany Law School, Mr. Wilson served as an editor on the Executive Board of the Albany Law Review.
Mr. Wilson began his career in 2002 as a Plaintiff’s attorney litigating complex, wage and hour class and PAGA actions, individual employment cases, products liability cases, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases and cases involving maritime law. Mr. Wilson expanded his practice by becoming a Defense attorney and Partner at big law defense firms Gordon & Rees and Fisher & Phillips. At the time, Fisher & Phillips was recognized as the third largest employment defense law firm in the country.
Mr. Wilson’s employment practice over the past two decades has focused on litigating complex, multi-party wage and hour class actions and California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions in state and federal court. Mr. Wilson is an experienced class action and PAGA litigator and he utilizes a highly strategic approach to class litigation, certification and Trial.
