With a diverse legal background practicing employment law, immigration law, family law, and personal injury, Ms. Kurdi is an expert in client-focused advocacy. Throughout her work, she has maintained her overarching purpose: to steadfastly empower the underdog. For over 5 years, she has focused her efforts on representing mistreated employees throughout the state of California. As an advocate for employees, Ms. Kurdi has brought actions against employers for wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower actions. Her unyielding dedication to treating her clients as human beings has been the hallmark of her success.
Ms. Kurdi graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2007 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Environmental Studies. She then attended Chapman University School of Law on an academic scholarship, and after welcoming a baby into her family and spending a year at American University Washington College of law, she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2013. While in law school, Ms. Kurdi interned for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, Legal Aid Society of Orange County, and U.S. Department of State where she served as an analyst in the Bureau of Democracy, Labor, and Human Rights.
In her free time, Ms. Kurdi enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cooking, and traveling
